After a successful Beta 2 round during which we dealt over 1.5 million hands, the next round of the Virtue Poker Beta is about to begin. The Final Beta will run from March 16th to June 19th.
This time, we have a very special Grand Prize for players to work towards — we’re sending one player to the Main Event of the 2020 World Series of Poker.

How the Open Beta program works
If you played in earlier Alpha or Beta rounds, we will deposit 50,000 Test VPPs directly into your Virtue Poker account. You do not need to transfer VPPs from your Source of Funds account. The Test VPPs that you had from previous rounds will no longer usable after 15 March.
If you did not play in earlier Alpha or Beta rounds: Once your account is created, we will deposit 50,000 Test VPPs into your newly-created account.
In either case, if you run out, you may request up to two 25,000-chip reloads; however, each one you request costs 25% of your Bankroll Builder bonus (see below).
[NOTE: we have changed the above reload amount from 10,000 VPPs to 25,000 VPPs.]
All of our ring games have a 1,000 VPP buy-in and 10–20 VPP blinds, and all of our Sit & Go tournaments have a 1,000 VPP buy-in (except for Bust-a-Host tables; see below), so you have 50 full buy-ins.
Here is a quick rundown of what we’ve got planned:
Bust-a-Host tables
As we have done since our first Alpha launch, we will run Bust-a-Host games at least 3 times every weekday, sometimes more. For 1,000 VPPs, you can take a shot at busting one of the Virtue Poker Hosts. If you do, you’ll receive a 0.2 real ETH bounty, deposited directly into your external Source of Funds account.
Note: Hosts are not always bounties. If you aren’t sure, ask the Host! We always post in the Telegram channel when a Bust-a-Host is about to start.
And we’re adding a special new bounty game: Bust-a-Rast! As you may know, Brian Rast, one of the top poker pros in the world with over $21 million in winnings, is a Virtue Poker Team Pro. We will publish details on participating in Bust-a-Rast next Friday, 13 March.
Real Money Bankroll Builder
This is your chance to win real Virtue Poker Points (VPPs), tokens that you can use to play when Virtue Poker goes live. The month before we launch on the Ethereum mainnet, you will receive a bonus of real VPPs, not test VPPs, based on how many Sit & Go tournaments you play from March 16 through June 19. These will be deposited directly into your Virtue Poker account and can be used to compete for real money when our site goes live! Here’s how many you can earn:
Play 200 SNG, receive 4,000 VPPs
Grinder Bonus: Play 400 SNGs, receive 10,000 VPPs
Super Grinder Bonus: Play 1,000 SNGs, receive 25,000 VPPs + 1 ETH (first 100 players only)
I Have No Life Bonus: Play 2,000 SNGs, receive 100,000 VPPs + 2 ETH (first 20 players only)
Weekly drawings
In addition to the Bust-a-Rast drawings, each player who plays at least 1,000 hands each week will receive a ticket into a 1 ETH weekly drawing.

Every player who plays at least 200 Sit & Go tournaments also receives a ticket to the Grand Prize Drawing, in which you can win:
1st place: 5 ETH

The Sit & Go World Series
Every poker player dreams of this — playing in the $10,000 buy-in Main Event of the World Series of Poker for a top prize of $8 million or more. We’re making this dream come true for one player, who will win not only the $10,000 buy-in, but $2,000 in cash for travel and accommodations.
The Sit & Go World Series is a 10-week competition in which you’re trying to reach the Final Table of 6 players. You must play at least 200 Sit & Go tournaments to qualify. There are two ways to get there:
- The top 3 players on the Sit & Go World Series Leaderboard each win seats. The Leaderboard is where you show how much game you really have — you receive 7 points for each Sit & Go you win (including Bust-a-Host tables) and 3 points for each Sit & Go in which you come in second. All of your Sit & Go results are tabulated and averaged.
- 3 additional seats will be drawn from all other qualifying players.
The Series runs from March 16 through May 23. On Sunday, June 14, after these 6 players pass a Game Security audit, they will play in a Sit & Go with an extended blind format (10,000 starting chips, 50–100 starting blinds, 10 minute levels). Every player at the Final Table wins:
1st: $10,000 seat + $2,000 cash
2nd: 10 ETH
3rd: 5 ETH
4th: 3 ETH
5th: 2 ETH
6th: 1 ETH
