The Virtue Poker Beta 2 launches today with a sneak preview for players who participated in earlier rounds of the Alpha and Beta programs. The Sneak Preview week will run from October 30th to November 8th.
Virtue Poker has been developing our innovative, blockchain-based online poker platform for more than three years. The system is designed to fix online poker’s biggest problems — game security and safety of player funds — using a combination of blockchain technology, cryptography and peer-to-peer networking.
The most exciting addition to the Virtue Poker service is the launch of Sit & Go tournaments. In addition to adding these new tournaments, Virtue Poker has created a completely new look for SNG tournaments, docking the lobby directly to SNG tables. This makes multi-table play much easier, since players don’t have to search for the lobby to find out the current state of the tournament. This version also enables many of the features we need for our mainnet launch, including sound and advanced action betting checkboxes.
As we have done for all of our Alpha and Beta test rounds, we are providing a lot of incentives to encourage players to participate in the Beta 2. We are giving away 1 ETH every weekday in random drawings — all you need to do is play at least 100 hands each day to be eligible for that day’s drawing. We will announce the winners in the Telegram channel the day following each drawing. And we’ll be conducting Bust-a-Host tables for at least 3 hours every weekday, awarding ETH to any tester who busts one of our hosts.
If you participated in one of our earlier Alpha or Beta test rounds, you should have already received an email from us about the Beta 2. You will receive final instructions on how to participate on Wednesday, October 30. If you haven’t received an email from us by Wednesday, email support@virtue.poker and we’ll make sure you’re on the list.
One last note — if you didn’t participate in one of our earlier testing rounds, your chance is coming soon! We will open the Beta 2 program to everyone starting on/around November 11.
